December Mission Outreaches for NLCC
Nursing Home Residents (with limited or no family) will receive a gift, a visit, and a plate of candy and cookies--plus a sing-along time of Christmas Carols will be included. Location--Maple Grove Nursing Home, Louisiana, MO; Dec. 10, 12:00 noon. Resident's names needing gifts are available from April Sterne, and all gifts are due back to NLCC by Dec. 3, 2023
Angel Tree Ministry Outreach
NLCC will minister to 25 Angel Tree Children from our surrounding area. What is an "Angel Tree Child?" It is a child whose parent is incarcerated, and cannot give a gift to their child this year. The parent complete the application, make a gift recommendation, and we purchased the gift. The tag for the child will be from the incarcerated parent. Why do we do this? So the family can hopefully stay intact even though the parent is missing from the home. Angela Butler is coordinating this mission outreach, and all gifts are due back to NLCC by Dec. 10, 2023
